I read an article last Wednesday in the New Paper on a family where their son, 39, refuses to work. Moreover, he is able-bodied. His father who used to be a primary school teacher for 33 years was earning $4,400, suffered from a stroke and had both of his legs has been amputated.
Now, the family are surviving with the father's CPF including monthly payout from an insurance policy of only about $700 per month.

Despite all that, the son still asked money from his parents!! I was so shocked upon reading the news. That is so mean. All I can react to the shocking news... is being speechless...
